I have been a Mathematics teacher employed by the Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago for the past five years. I taught students at Presentation College Chaguanas mainly in the senior division (aged 16-18) Mathematics in preparation for the Cambridge A Level examinations. Presentation College is one of the top colleges in Trinidad and Tobago and the students are known to excel.
As illustrated in my educational background and experience I have proven to be a disciplined, initiative and industrious employee capable of working successfully in a team or independently. I am confident , keen and possess a passion for teaching Mathematics.
At present I am privately tutoring students from grade nine to twelve and I am quite familiar with the Ontario Mathematics Curriculum. Some of the courses I have taught are Advanced Functions, Data Management , Calculus and Vectors, Grade 10 Science (General) and Academic Mathematics.
I have obtained an Interim Ontario College of Teachers Certificate that qualifies me to teach intermediate and senior Mathematics. I would also like to inform you that I am capable of teaching Science at the intermediate level.
I will be willing to volunteer if necessary, thus allowing you to get to know me better and what I can contribute to your school.
