KNOW the NEW TRANSIT LAW *ENGLISH*

Posted in: Other in Costa Rica
Last updated: 05/09/09

In September, a very harsh new law takes effect in all of Costa Rica, that's going to affect everyone who uses the roadways. You need to be prepared, get informed, and get ready for September, as it might be the harshest law Costa Rica has ever passed.

Did you know.........

400 new Transito Officers will hit the streets in September, adding 50% more cops to the already 800 working the roadways.

Parents transporting children under the age of 12 MUST HAVE A SAFETY SEAT for each child, and each child may only sit in certain seats, according to their age. Not complying with this can cost the parent their license ON THE SPOT, on the very first infraction, and their license will be suspended FOR TWO YEARS.

New devices are required for EVERYONE, including bicyclists!!! Get informed!!! Not having them can put your right to circulate in serious jeopardy!!

All drivers licenses will be computerized, with a new "points system". Anyone can lose their license, with only one, two, or three infractions, and getting your license back will be VERY VERY difficult.

Although COSEVI is responsible for fully informing the public of all new changes, there is nothing out there in English to make sure English-speaking drivers know what they're in for. This is why this ebook is being published.

See all the details, in English in a $9.95 ebook for sale at InsideCostaRica.com or http://www.newleydetransito.com

BE INFORMED. BE PREPARED. GET "Shorty's Guide to the 2009 Ley de Transito", in English, and don't be caught by surprise!!!!!!!
