English lessons at 150 HK an hour. I am a teacher of 15 years, who quite honestly just loves teaching. At the same time I am shocked by how expensive some of the private tutoring in Hong Kong is. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and sometimes you do not.
The truth is the market is saturated with a large number of foreigners who are mostly backpackers, who have little or no teaching experience, but will tell you different. I am neither a backpacker nor lacking in experience, far from it.
