RARE Walter Brend Wooden CANE SWORD

Last updated: 02/11/09

Here are 2 swords made by the famous Walter Brend. He specializes in combat knives mostly for military. Appears like a wooden cane / Joso, underneath is a Brend Sword, not just a knife... He only made 8, 1 burned in a house fire. Mr. Brend will not be making anymore. I can provide measurements on request.

These cane swords were made for my father, the late Kyoshi Earle Marvin, a master in martial arts, trained with Soke Kuniba, who on his death bed asked my father to continue Goshin-Do and so he did. I'm now Kyoshi of Sogo Goshin-Do. My father's sword was the very first made. We have #00 and #02. #00 is in emaculate condition, never has been used for anything other than practice in the air. It's the lighter wood handle #02 has been used in moderation, has no big signs of use, but has been restained. The sheath was fixed to hold the sword in tight. Walter Brend stated that they are worth $15,000 U.S. a sword at least b/c only 7 exist. We are offering these 2 as a pair ...If someone knows a thing a two about knives and swords made by Mr. Brend, you will know how special and rare they are....
