TAVASA is an association for transcriptionists and virtual assistants, and all other language providers, of South Africa.

Headed up by Alison Fourie of AMF Typing Services (www.amftyping.co.za) and Gaynor Paynter of Typewrite Transcription and Typing Services (www.typewritetranscription.co.za), TAVASA aims to, amongst others:

- Provide support for people in our industries
- Bring together a group of professionals who can support each other
- Set standards for our industries in South Africa
