ILC International Language Centre has a translation department with more than 300 well-trained, often University educated interpreters and translators. The majority of these translators have been sworn in court. A large number specializes in an area of expertise, be it commercial, technical, financial or legal. All interpreters and translators are native speakers and in principle translate into their mother tongue, mostly with a second proof-reader. The translation department is a member of the ATA (Association of Translation Agencies).
Fees for translations depend on the contents of the text to be translated, the target language and the source language and the time period when the translation is required. If you want an indication of the costs of a translation, please check our website. Of course, special fees apply to large volumes or umbrella agreements.
Additional fees are charged for sworn translations, as well as for specialized and technical translations. Additional fees are also charged for urgent, evening and weekend orders. For other work, such as text editing, copywriting, revisions and working out of (video) tapes we carry out the work based on an hourly fee.
As a standard, we process texts on each PC as text file in Word for Windows. Other word processing programs are possible on request. Delivery shall take place in consultation with the client, either by mail (print + digital file), by fax, modem or personal e-mail. The standard possibilities include delivering documents in PDF or Excel.
