Over the past 3 years, Grammy Nominated DJ/Producer Dirty South aka Dragan Roganovic has made an instant name for himself in the dance music industry, impressing the who’s who of international DJs, producers, media and music lovers with his uncanny ability to dish up ready-made dancefloor bombs.

Born in Europe and moved to Australia when he was 13, Dragan’s thirst for music took a hold of him from a young age. Legendary Japanese Hip Hop DJ and Producer Nujabe’s hits Seoul’s, Club mASS on the 5th and 6th of December 2008 for a double header of bangin tunez.

Nujabes’s genre-blending music style is known for a strong cool jazz and soul influence. He most typically uses samples from artists such as Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, and Yusef Lateef and adds live instrumentation to create warm, mellow tracks. Despite his role as DJ, Nujabes rarely plays live and does not make many media appearances, which adds to his enigmatic charisma. This trait extends into his album covers, all of which express a particular distinct, abstract imagery. Nujabes has released two albums in Japan, Metaphorical Music in 2003 and Modal Soul in 2005. Specifically, Metaphorical Music sold over 20,000 copies by 2004, an unheard-of amount for an independent release.

After Tsutchie, Nujabes was the second artist Shinichirō Watanabe chose to contribute to the background music and soundtracks of Samurai Champloo, an anime which blends a feudal Japan setting with modern anachronisms, especially in regards to hip-hop culture. In addition to Japanese artists like Uyama Hiroto, Shing02 and Minmi, Nujabes has collaborated with underground American hip-hop acts CYNE, Apani B, Five Deez, Substantial, CL Smooth, Terry Callier, as well as British rapper Funky DL. He is also a member of the production duo Urbanforest, an experimental collaboration with Nao Tokui.

1991: “B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e” forms, consisting of Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone Flesh-N-Bone & Bizzy Bone. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony releases Faces of Death under the name Bone Enterpri$e.

1993: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony audition live backstage for Eazy-E. He signs them to Ruthless Records on the spot.

June 1994: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony release their first real album Creepin On Ah Come Up which went on to be 4x Platinum Certified.

1995: Bone Thugs-N-Harmony release E.1999 Eternal which debut at #1 on top of the pop charts.
