We pay special attention to encourage and help children in conversing in English language. To achieve this we assist the child in building vocabulary by teaching new words and small sentences of everyday use in English language; which we have specially designed for children’s use – both in the school and at home. Children are encouraged to speak with parents and other members of the family at home in English. And the family members are expected to respond and help the child.
St. Jude’s children learn to “Value” what they have because there are some less fortunate children in the world who do not have any toys, clothes or food to eat – some children have no parents to care for them.
Children are introduced to the concept of being thankful to God and to their parents for what they have got. They are also encouraged to the concept of “Sharing” their things with less fortunate children.
Children are taught to learn and recite; with actions, a number of English Nursery Rhymes and Hindi Poems during the session.
