A systematic review of recent research on healthcare

Reviews and summaries of systematic literature on healthcare innovation from 2000 to 2021. The majority of the studies that were included used cross-sectional designs and quantitative or qualitative approaches for several case studies. They were all concerned with the acceptance of new ideas and methods. These five directions should guide future research: The following criteria should be met: (a) multilevel approaches to studying innovation at the individual, group, and organizational levels; (b) a combination of quantitative and qualitative data; (c) longitudinal designs (innovation as both a dependent and independent variable); (d) the use of experimental designs in interventions; and (e) the investigation of innovation generation and structural innovations.
