CBT is an evidence-based therapy that explores the link between how thoughts can impact how you feel and behave. The therapist and client work together to look at more beneficial thinking styles, creating positive feelings and altering behaviours. CBT has a good evidence base for a wide range of mental health problems in adults, older adults, children and young people.
